Gratitude for the amazing year of travel I was able to experience ending in Sedona! Climbed the South Rim of Bell Rock!!

My absolute favorite holiday of all of the traditional holidays has to be Thanksgiving. It has been for as long as I can remember. My favorite things about this holiday growing up had to be the Parade (I still don't feel like it's Thanksgiving until I see The Rockettes high kicking in front of Macy's), the football, and the food! Growing up it was always hosted at my Auntie Marcia's and there was never a shortage of food or family. From what I can remember everyone was always on their best behavior and the blessing was always said before the meal. There was of course a kids table and if I had to go back now as an adult I think that is the table that I would choose to sit at! I never did understand why everyone wanted to move their way up to the adult table. Over the past year the way that we have celebrated our family Thanksgiving (and other holidays) has changed and I am super grateful and happy with how much simpler it has gotten.

We still wake up early to get the food going and to enjoy the parade, and the only day of the year the tv is allowed on mute during dinner is Thanksgiving so I can keep an eye on how bad the Dallas Cowboys are losing and cheer for the Detroit Lions win at home (there have been a LOT of disappointing years) but the day is really now just for my small family of four and this year we are adding a significant other at the table. My favorite thing to do after the blessing is said as we all pass around the dishes and take our food is to remind each other of all the events that happened this year to be grateful for. It struck me today that this gratitude on this day is probably what makes it so amazing. It puts us in an energetic space of gratitude which is one of the highest vibrational levels that we have to operate on in our 3rd dimensional world. It is one of the frequencies that if we can stay on every single day can change our lives for the better. So here are some of the highlights of my gratitude for the past 365 days!

First is my amazing family. Specifically my husband and soul mate who makes every single day one full of love and laughter. Even the hard days. Next are my two children who have grown so much this year, and are starting to resemble adults that I hope we have more of in this world going forward. I am so grateful for my friends, who funny enough have dwindled to a small group of high vibrating people that help to to remain at peace and grounded and never stop believing in me. I am grateful for all the travel we have been able to do this year. It is such a blessing to be able to go to new places and experience the culture and energy of the people who live there that I am grateful for it and also amazed by it. I am grateful to all the people that have supported and cheered me on as I embarked on this new journey of energy healing. I am also grateful for the people who said terrible things and told me I was a bad person for wanting to do energy work. They made it easier for me to cut them(and their low vibrational energy) out of my life. I am grateful that I have a stable job, a warm and cozy home to come home to every night, and food on the table. I could go on and on but I will just leave it at that for now.

Every morning I wake up and my practice is to spend a few minutes just saying "Thank You" repeatedly. Thank you for waking up. Thank you for the job I have to go to. Thank you for the day off. Thank you for clean water. Thank you for the warm bed. Thank you for the love in my life. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! And finally also a huge THANK YOU to everyone who reads this blog, has allowed me to do energy work with and for them, listened to my podcast, and attended classes! You have made me believe in myself and what is possible for my life and I could not be more GRATEFUL to all of you!!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!
